We hear more and more news of global economy crisis every day. The impact of recession is becoming more and more serious, the number of insolvent firms is steadily rising and record number of people has lost their jobs. We wanted to know how concerned Hungarians are about the crisis, how they feel about the weakness of Hungarian currency, and if they are afraid of losing their job. The survey, in which we interviewed 500 people, was carried out at the end of November 2008. Almost every second respondent is strongly concerned about the crisis - 45 % answered "very much". But three from every ten people said they are not at all interested in it. |

| Half of the respondents said that the weakening of Forint (Hungarian currency) has caused problems for them, 23% answered the opposite. One quarter (27%) of all said they had serious problems because of our devaluated currency. |
